100 Posts!

I can't believe I've already hit 100 blog posts!  Time sure is flying! I've found so many awesome blogs, and found so much inspiration from fellow quilters, crafters and sewers, I've got my entire plate full of wonderful projects to do.  Hmmm...actually, it may have been full before I started blogging...now it's overflowing!!  :)

It's been a busy week...it always is, and I haven't been posting as much as I'd like to.  I have so many projects to share...a giveaway that is totally overdue...so many new projects I've found that I want to share...sick kids....my mother-in-law who is coming into town tomorrow...and a continuing whooshing in my ear that is slowly driving me insane! :)  Went to the doc about it...no help, but it's really starting to be a problem.  I can't concentrate and sometimes can't hear over the sound of my pulse in my ear.  :(  I told my husband I feel like the character from Edgar Allen Poe's famous Poem, Tell Tale Heart where the character murders a man, and buries him under the floor boards and he thinks he hears the dead man's heart and it slowly drives him nutty.  (I only relate to the last part....not the murdering someone and burying them part.)  :)

So anyways...the giveaway is going to be postponed until after my husband's mom visits.  And I probably won't be posting too much for the next week too.  Not that that is much of a change from lately!~ :)

Score!I

I just scored the mother-load of fabric and notions from Freecycle!  Yay!  It was a party/costume shop moving locations, and getting rid of a ton of stuff.  Super excited...only down fall....I don't think my husband is speaking to me.  No, really...I don't know where I'm going to put it all...anyone have a storage room they could spare for a new craft room??  Preferably close to Renton, Washington????  :)

Amazing Blog and Giveaway

Okay, so I found this awesome giveaway over at Simply Handmade by Paige, it's for a $25 gift card to Poppy Seed Fabrics Etsy shop....FABRIC! :) YAY!  So I'm all for a good giveaway. 

And then I read the blog owner's little bio...Paige....she's 14!  How amazing is that??!?!  This girl is making amazing crafts and other projects, doing awesome giveaways, and has an adorable and successful blog....not to mention her fabulous Etsy shop Pink Lemonade  (how cute is that name!!!!)

So I decided that I had to blog about her and her shop to help give her some recognition for being so driven at such a young!  Simply awesome.

Happy Birthday to me!

Today's the day!  The big 2-8!  How funny...I feel old, but when I say that I'm only 28 it seems so young!  Found out I have high blood pressure yesterday...I really am getting old! :)  So today is Lillian's first day of ballet for this session, she's totally excited! :)  And then we're going out to dinner with the fam.  Azteca in Burien...a family favorite!  Yum...Mexican food! :)  And there's a Value Village right next door that my husband never let's me go to when we're in the neighborhood, so since it's my birthday...oh yeah...I'm definitely stopping by this time! What a dork...my exciting Birthday evening is that I get to go to Value Village.  :)

And for my b-day present I'm getting a much needed (and begged for) rotary cutter and mat!  Yippee! And Halloween was awesome by the way.  Completely stressful the whole day of, because I was still making the kids' costumes...but so worth it, and so much fun!  I'll post some pictures later when I get a chance.

And I'm thinking that I'd really like to have a giveaway.  I'm not really sure what I'm going to give away yet...considering it's my first I don't want it to be a flop...and be something lame that no one wants.  ;)  So let me think about it (a couple more days)...and then I'll let you all know what I've decided on.  :)
